nexus 7 screen flicker

I received my Nexus 7 at dinner time today and can’t wait to test it out. Upon checking it out I’ve noticed screen flickering which is a sign that hardware must have a problem. uh oh, hopefully I can call Google tomorrow and get this fixed.
